SuzAnn Brantner is the owner of The Family Business - a Los Angeles based digital and content marketing company that reaches target demographics through innovative digital strategy, emerging technologies and creative content marketing campaigns. Founded in 2013, The Family Business works with various film, music, and entertainment clients such as Steve Aoki, Fox Pictures, Alanis Morissette, Ultra Records, Smithsonian Channel, Armada Records and Sony Records.
A graduate of Indiana University, SuzAnn started her career at 3 Artist Management, before moving to the strategic marketing department at Warner Brothers Records. She later returned to 3 Artist Management, where she managed The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Grandaddy and B.T. (among others). Working at 3 Artist Management for ten years, she assumed the role of General Manager before leaving to join the William Morris agency in January 2008. She created a department at William Morris allowing clients to self-release their content (music, books and film). During her time running Self Serve her department released 22 records (Aretha Franklin, Paul van Dyk, Metric, etc.) and 5 films (including the top ten iTunes film, Transcendence Man). In her fifth and final year at WME, SuzAnn served as William Morris Endeavor’s Worldwide Head of Digital, where she worked with all departments devising digital marketing and content strategies for the agency’s clients, consulted and serviced company investments as well as operated as an overall digital resource for the company.
